Balanced Energy Wellness
Did some updates for Balanced Energy Wellness in (a great place for acupuncture and all kinds of wellness in Peachtree City by the way!), and realized I’d never posted it here.

This was a fun project to redesign a very complex site with years of podcast archives. Each category features a different accent color, and the home page includes a rotating banner, as well as a custom designed category carousel.
Updated Website for a new podcasting direction
Josh Levs spent 20 years inside mainstream media (at NPR and CNN), did lots of fact checking on air and online, and won lots of awards (Peabody, Edward R. Murrow, NABJ, and more). His book, All In, corrected myths about dads and modern families.
Now, he’s doing for the media what he has done for other topics: busting myths, and fighting for truth, with his new podcast series, “They Stand Corrected”.
We’ve been doing Josh’s website for years, but this new direction meant a makeover, with fresh branding and new features, including integration with Blubrry Powerpress as the podcasting platform.

Branding & Look and Feel for a new line of business
Verbamundi – A consulting company updates its look
Verbamundi Consulting is expanding and needed a new, more professional logo and look.
Check out the new logo, designed by our incomparable Aaron Wood!
Their new logo is clean and reflects their company and their brand. Their new website is a lyrical and literary adventure. Rather than an incorporated blog, we have a news feed for news & press, and a Substack for both email collection and blog. Check it out!
The menu is fixed on the full site , but here is a general idea of the home page layout.
Design Services & Content Development: United Charitable
Although we both design and build sites, sometimes we partner with companies that already have a development team, but need a fresh eye on their site design. United Charitable had a current website, and had been working for a while on a redesign, but felt they were spinning their wheels. We worked closely with their team to develop their messaging and their content, sourcing the right photos and editing and developing text. Our designer worked with them to develop a fresh and clean site design that updated their brand. Wireframes, prototypes, content and designs were handed off to their development team for implementation on their website.
2021 Essential Theatre Redesign
Essential Theatre is one of our favorite non-profit theatre groups, and they’ve been a client for many years. We recently had an opportunity to redesign their website. Obviously right now we can’t highlight the annual festival, but, the site is set up for that when they are ready. Until then, we’re showing off classes, the playwriting contest, previous performances, and so forth.
Sundari Farm & Gardens
Catching up on some of our sites from 2020… For Sundari Farm & Gardens, an eco-resort in Hawaii, updated branding and a new website were a great thing to get knocked out during the pandemic. The site features event management and calendar, links to bookings, blog and news features, classes & events, social media templates and branding, and an e-commerce shop.
BrainShape gets a fresh look, and a new domain for 2021
As time progresses and your business shifts, we make changes to our websites to meet business needs. But after a while many small changes can add up to a look that isn’t as cohesive as we’d like! For long time client BrainShape, a refresh was in order. We did a quick turnaround refresh project that included a fresh look, updates to functionality, and minor fixes and improvements, and also updated the domain name. If you’re in Northern Virginia and in need of neurofeedback or hypnosis, check out the new BrainshapeVA.com!

Recent Projects: Set 2 Fitness!
We’ve been crazy busy! Just launched this week, a fun and vibrant website for Set2 Fitness. A memorable and useful website is super important to making a splash with a new business, and Lorna’s is a great example of a simple website and blog that stands out from the crowd with an atypical grid based design. And if you’re looking for a personalized training experience in intown Atlanta, you should check them out!
Grounded Kids Yoga
Grounded Kids is a company that provides yoga programs all over the country, with a variety of programs for kids and for teachers. The website redesign was an extensive project including a large number of custom pages each with a custom design. Functionality includes a training calendar with the ability to book classes, a teacher directory, an e-commerce shop, blog, and an extensive private membership site with training materials.
Finally Free: Design & Prototyping
The Finally Free website is for both clients and instructors for the Finally Free program for Good Decisions. We did designs and prototyping for a future website, including an instructor search, instructor features, and an instructor portal.
Before and After: Provenance Rehabilitation
This recent redesign was one of my favorites. It’s always fun to take a dated website and turn it into something usable and beautiful. You’ll notice that not only did we update the logo to something that reflected their core brand in a more modern way, we also changed the feel and the focus of the site from cold and clinical, to warm and vibrant—moving the focus to the desired outcome versus the procedures themselves. Check out more in our Portfolio, or visit Provenance Rehab to see the whole site.

Launched recently!
We recently launched the following two projects in partnership with our friends at Project 18!
Atlanta Radio Theatre Company’s redesign was a lot of fun, and a real learning experience on the world of audio drama. If you like podcasts, they have some great new series’ you should check out, or you can download a classic by Sherlock Holmes or Ray Bradbury. We really enjoyed working with the dedicated artists over there – and if you’re an actor, or would like to try your hand at voice acting as an amateur, you should check them out!
Our other great project with Project 18 this winter was a redesign of the decor shop Select Surfaces in Vail, Colorado. They were lovely people to work with, and they now have a fresh new website that is as lovely as they are. If you’re in the Vail area, you should definitely shop local and give these guys a chance to show you all their fabulous flooring, tile, stone, blinds and more!

Yes, You Can Dance!, based in the Pittsburgh, PA area, is a non-profit organization dedicated to transforming lives through the power of dance, working with seniors and individuals with special needs. It’s a wonderful organization that we had worked with before on a website and branding. They were still happy with their branding, but it was time to freshen up the look of the site and add some new features.
